Two weeks ago I came across several headlines in national
news outlets stating that 'new research' showed that people who exercised had
'better Covid 19 vaccine effectiveness'.
"Regular exercise may improve the effectiveness of
coronavirus vaccines" stated the Washington Post.
"Exercisers who were vaccinated were about 25 percent
less likely to be hospitalized with covid than sedentary people who received
the same vaccine, a new study found," continued the byline.
Please understand the following. Your body and immune system
benefit from exercise. The vaccine does not benefit from your
exercise. If you exercise, and are therefore 25% less likely to be
hospitalized with Covid, that is because the exercise routine that you engage
in is beneficial to your overall health. Period. So exercise
more...it makes you healthier!
In fact, a search of a research database (pubmed.gov)
of the terms "exercise" and "immune system" results in
almost 7,000 research reports on varying positive benefits of exercise for your
immune system. In fact, one study from February of 2021 states the
following: "The practice of physical exercises acts as a modulator of the
immune system. During and after physical exercise, pro- and anti-inflammatory
cytokines are released, lymphocyte circulation increases, as well as cell
recruitment. Such practice has an effect on the lower incidence, intensity of
symptoms and mortality in viral infections observed in people who practice
physical activity regularly."
It continued..."The practice of physical activities
strengthens the immune system, suggesting a benefit in the response to viral
communicable diseases. Thus, regular practice of adequate intensity is
suggested as an auxiliary tool in strengthening and preparing the immune system
for COVID-19."
Also, let me just state the following, before it is reported
by the establishment news industry: Eating healthier makes you less likely
to be hospitalized with Covid! Eat more 'real food' like fruits and
veggies and natural meats, and your body will be much more likely to fight off
Covid and not need hospitalization! That apple that you have as a
snack will have zero impact on Covid 19 Vaccine Efficacy...but it will make you
healthier than you were before you ate it.
In addition to this, there are obviously side-effects to
these mRNA vaccinations. In fact, The American College of Cardiology
released a study last week that showed that males and females between 18
and 39 with the Moderna vaccine had higher rates of pericarditis and
myocarditis. Symptoms of these conditions include chest pain, fever,
fatigue, shortness of breath, and a rapid or irregular pulse, heart failure,
shock or death, according to the National Institutes of Health. The
American College of Cardiology's study included over 3 million participants and
used people over the age of 18 who were hospitalized for myocarditis,
pericarditis, or myopericarditis within 21 days after having received a second
Pfizer or Moderna shot. The study excluded participants that had experienced
myocarditis or pericarditis within one year before receiving the second dose of
the COVID-19 vaccine. “Within 21 days of the second dose, there were a total of
59 myocarditis cases, 21 after Pfizer and 31 after Moderna; and there were a
total of 41 pericarditis cases: 21 after Pfizer and 20 after Moderna,” the
study reads. “Researchers also looked at rates per million doses and the rate
was 35.6 cases per million for Moderna and 12.6 per million for Pfizer—an
almost threefold increase after Moderna shots vs. Pfizer.”
“Comparatively, rates of myocarditis in the general
population in 2018, were 2.01 per million in people under age 40 and 2.2 per
million in people over age 40,” the study added.
Your body is self-regulating and self-healing. It is always innately trying to heal itself and maintain homeostasis. The best things you can do to help this process is to exercise, eat healthy, and get adjusted. You cannot enhance the effectiveness of any drug you take or vaccination you receive, but you can enhance your body’s own ability to heal and regulate itself. Weigh the odds in your favor with exercise, nutrition, and a wellness lifestyle!
